Before this group trip, being able to travel with a busy itinerary of activities and exploration on a budget seemed unrealistic – Plotpackers made this possible. The itinerary was just packed enough to keep busy but well thought out and allowed for rest and acclimatisation. Being able to share this experience and make friends with a group of people who would be otherwise strangers was an added bonus. For anyone who is doubtful about solo/group travel, just book the trip!

Ecuador is a must visit country! Getting the opportunity to stay in the Amazon jungle is such a surreal experience and so glad I did it. Bucket list item ticked off and still hasn’t fully sunk in. This was my 4th trip with plotpackers and I’ve got a few more already booked and can’t wait. Each trip is so different but are all great experiences.
Elie (@elieestallard) was fantastic as always, having done previous trips with her before. She’s always upbeat and happy even when the altitude changes made her feel unwell. Her excitement throughout the trip was infectious even when stuck knee high in mud. Would definitely recommend booking a trip with her!
Ru (our guide and personal photographer) the absolute legend, it didn’t even feel like he was our guide but just a member of the group with all his fun facts and passion for Ecuador. He was always warm, welcoming and always available if anyone needed anything and made sure everyone was safe throughout the trip. Wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip if he’s the guide again and the photos he took throughout the trip are awesome. A real asset to the company!

I did two trips with plotpackers (run by Louise) this summer. One in Ecuador and one in Costa Rica. They were both fabulous! So much thought put into them. Louise’s knowledge and experience was so reassuring and made the trips amazing! There was such a great mix of planned activities and days where you could also explore on your own. Louise was always there to give some great recommendations and had lots of advice for travellers.
It was my first time travelling alone so I wanted to start with a group trip to see how it goes and I do not regret it for a second! I will definitely be booking more trips with plotpackers in the future!

What an amazing group trip to Bali!! Couldn’t fault it! Lots of activities and lots of variety – making a well rounded trip packed with adventure. Sicilia our tour guide was the best of the best. We were so well looked after and she went above and beyond for the group. Super well informed of the localities and “best” spots for anything you could think of! Wouldn’t have been the same without her! Would highly recommend this group / our tour guide to anyone looking to book their next trip :)

You must be 18 by the first day of your trip with us. We have no upper age limit – our tours typically have a range of travellers aged 18-25 in attendance – but we welcome likeminded travellers both young and old to join us on the trip of a lifetime!
Group sizes can vary widely but typically the full capacity for a group ranges from 18 – 20!
Yes! A group chat will be made, by your dedicated Plotpackers guide, after all final balances have been collected – look out for this around 30 days before departure!
If adverse weather conditions prevent any excursion from taking place, we shall use our best endeavours to either rearrange the event on a mutually convenient date, provide you / your group with an alternative event, or provide a voucher to you at the value of the activity to use on any future Plotpackers booking. In dangerously extreme weather conditions that result in cancellation of the tour itself (which would only ever be done with your safety in mind), a refund will be provided to you at the full cost of the cancelled elements.
